Complete performance evaluation and compliance testing of each MRI unit with respect to the following:




Resonance frequency

Signal-to-noise

Image uniformity

Spatial linearity

Spatial resolution

Slice thickness

Slice position/separation

Phase related image artifacts




All procedures will be performed using phantoms supplied by the manufacturer.




Provide a typed report of all findings for use as a permanent record, in a format acceptable to JCAHO and AOA.
